Miami Heat

With a commanding lead over their Southeast Division as the end of 2013 draws near, the Miami Heat are looking forward to the playoffs – and with it, the chance at an unheralded 3rd consecutive national title.

And their chances are looking better and better. After missing several games due to injury, superstar Lebron James is back to form and leading the South Florida team to a series of victories that make them look like a serious title contender. Plus, with Chris Bosh and DeWayne Wade rounding up the Big Three, Miami isn’t looking anywhere but up.

Since bringing these three champions together 3 years ago, head coach Erik Spoelstra has solidified this team’s place in history. If they were to win a third championship, they would be just the fifth team ever to do so, and the first since the Los Angeles Lakers from 2000-2002.
